Servings: 4-6


Ingredients:


Vermicelli: 8 oz or 125 gms
Water : four cups
Cooking oil: 1 tbsp
Onion: 1 small, chopped.
mustard seeds: 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves: 1 sprig.
urad dal ( dissever matpe bean): 1 tsp ( optional)
Chana dal ( dissever chick peas): 1 tsp ( optional)
Peanut halves: 1 tbsp ( optional)
Mixed vegetables: 1 loving cup ( I used peas, carrots together with dark-green beans).
Green chillies: two small, slit
Haldi( turmeric powder): 1/2 tsp
Salt : to taste
Lemon juice: 1 tbsp ( from 1/2 lemon).
Cilantro :1 tbsp, chopped.


Method:


Boil H2O alongside a footling tabular array salt inwards a saucepan.Turn off the gas.Add the vermicelli  to the hot water, comprehend together with continue for 3-4 mins. Drain the H2O using a colander together with continue the vermicelli aside.




Heat 1 tbsp crude oil inwards a sauté pan.Add mustard seeds. Once they spultter, add together curry leaves, chana dal together with urad dal , peanut halves together with saute for 10 seconds. Garnish alongside freshly chopped cilantro.

Vermicelli should never endure overcooked. Just soaking it inwards hot H2O for few minutes gets the chore done.
