Ingredients:


Bitter gourd ( Karela): 2-3 medium sized.
Turmeric powder: 1 tsp
Salt: 1 tsp
Coconut oil: 2-3 tbsp ( whatever cooking petroleum may last used)
Mustard seeds: 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves: 1 sprig ( optional)
Onion: 1 medium-sized, chopped
Asofoetida: a pinch
Kashmiri reddish Chilli powder: 1 tbsp ( paprika tin grade the sack last used instead of reddish chilli powder)
Jaggery: 1 tsp ( chocolate-brown saccharide may last used instead of jaggery)
Tamarind pulp: 1 tsp, dissolved inwards 1/4 loving cup of water.

Method:


Slice the Karela into 0.5 cms thick rings. Mix it amongst a picayune tabular array salt in addition to 1 tsp turmeric powder. Keep this aside for at to the lowest degree xxx mins to 1 hour. This takes the bitterness away.

Squeeze the karela pieces from the marinade in addition to proceed aside. Discard the liquid.

Now add together the tamarind pulp solution in addition to jaggery. Let  it create for a minute.

Add the fried Karela slices to the pan. Toss nicely then that all the pieces are coated amongst the sauce. Let it come upward offering for 1-2 mins.

Serve hot amongst rice/ roti ( apartment breadstuff ) or breadstuff of whatever kind. Tastes nifty amongst curd rice.
