Hello Kitty Cake: A Chocolate Cake Alongside Chocolate Mousse In Addition To Buttercream Frosting.

Servings: 12-15 ( 2inches x four inches  piece).

Ingredients:


All usage flour: 1 & 3/4 cups
Granulated sugar: 2 cups
Cocoa pulverization ( unsweetened): 3/4 loving cup ( I used Hershey's)
Baking powder: 1 & 1/2 tsp
Baking soda: 1 & 1/2 tsp
Salt: 1/2 tsp
Eggs: 2, large
Coffee/ warm water: 1 cup
Milk: 1 loving cup ( at room temperature)
Canola oil: 1/2 loving cup ( whatsoever cooking crude oil tin live on used).
Vanilla essence: 1 & 1/2 tsp

For the frosting: ( makes four cups)

Powdered sugar: four cups
Unsalted butter: 1 cup
Vanilla essence: 2 tsp
Milk/ water: 2-3 tbsp
Salt: a pinch


For the Chocolate mousse:

Semisweet chocolate chips: 1 cup
Heavy cream/ whipping cream: 1 cup

Method:

Buttercream Frosting: 


Sift the powdered carbohydrate together with continue ready.

Add the butter to the mixer bowl together with cream the butter on medium setting until smooth.

Add vanilla essence together with tabular array salt together with crunch for a minute. Add the powdered carbohydrate 1/2 loving cup at a time, beating for 10 seconds afterward each addition.

Add milk/water 1 tbsp at a time, beating for few seconds until you lot receive got reached the desired consistency.

Take 1/2 loving cup of the frosting inwards 2 bowls. Add ruddy color to i together with dark to the other. Mix well. Take 1/4 loving cup frosting together with larn far pinkish ( optional). The Chocolate mousse:

The cake:


Preheat the oven to 350 deg F.

Crumb Coating: 

Apply a sparse coat of the white buttercream frosting together with crumb-coat the cake. Place it inwards the fridge for atleast a yoke of hours ( or overnight) earlier decorating the cake.



Decorating the cake:


Take the cake out of the refrigerator. Using a toothpick, roughly outline the bow, the eyes, olfactory organ together with whiskers.


Using an offset spatula together with white frosting, frost the sides together with shine it.

Using Wilton tip # 3 describe the whiskers of the kitty amongst dark frosting. Also fill upwardly up the eyes together with brand the outline of the bow.



Using the star tip # eighteen an ruddy buttercream frosting, fill upwardly inwards the bow, except the oculus of the flares of the bow which I receive got colored pink.



Now using the star tip #18 together with the white frosting fill upwardly inwards the residual of the transcend of the cake together with the bottom work on the cake board.
