Servings: 3-4


Ingredients:


Raw rice: 1 1/2 cups
Urad dal: 1/2 cup

For Saagu:




Servings: 4-6


Ingredients:

Freshly grated coconut: 1 cup

Cinnamon stick: 1 cms piece
Cloves: 2

For tempering:

Coconut oil: 1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds: 1 tsp
Curry leaves: 1 sprig

For garnishing:

Chopped cilantro: 2 tbsp

Method:


Peel in addition to chop the white patato to large chunks. Chop the light-green beans into 1 inch pieces. Peel the carrots in addition to cutting them into 2-inch long, 1 cms thick pieces.
