Freshly grated coconut: 1 tbsp ( optional)
Salt to taste
Cilantro ( coriander leaves) : 1 tsp for garnishing.
For tempering :
Coconut oil: 1 tsp
Mustard seeds: 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves: 1 sprig
Hing ( asofoetida)powder: a pinch
Method:
In a bowl, mix together shredded cabbage, grated carrots, freshly grated coconut, chopped light-green chilli,lemon juice & salt.
Tempering:
Heat kokosnoot petroleum inwards a pocket-sized frying pan. Add the mustard seeds. Once they splutter, add together curry leaves in addition to hing. Turn off the flaming immediately. Add it to the higher upwards bowl in addition to mix well.
Garnish amongst cilantro( coriander leaves).
