Today she is sharing alongside us a recipe that she learnt from her mother: Benda Sasam ( crispy okra inward a yogurt-based sauce). This is a really quick together with slow recipe that is good for you lot too!  This dish brings along a multifariousness of textures together with flavors alongside crispy okra inward a delicious spiced yogurt sauce.





Servings: 3-4 people


Ingredients

10-12 ladies finger (bhindi) (cut into sparse slices )
2 tbsp cooking oil

For Masala

1/2 loving cup freshly grated coconut 

1/4 tsp Mustard seeds

3-4 greenish chilli (adjust according to your spice level)

1/4 loving cup Thick curd /yogurt 

salt to taste

For tempering /tadka

1 tsp ghee + 1 tbsp oil

1/4 tsp mustard seeds

1/4 tsp Jeera

1/4 tsp urad dal

1 cherry-red chilli broken into bits 

1 sprig of curry leaves 

Method 
  • Wash Bhindi together with pat it dry out . Cut Bhindi into sparse slices together with piece of occupation along aside. Then accept a non stick pan add together fossil oil together with then add together ladies finger together with kid till v crisp on a depression oestrus together with piece of occupation along aside. ( This tin hold upwardly made good ahead of fourth dimension together with mixed at the fourth dimension of serving).
  • Grind coconut, greenish chilles, mustard seeds,  yogurt together with grind to a fine paste. Add H2O to sparse it to the desired consistency.

  • Now Prepare the tadka ; Heat a non stick pan add together inward ghee together with petty fossil oil together with then add together inward mustard seeds. Jeera, Urad dal, when it starts spluttering add together cherry-red chilli, kid add together inward curry leaves.
  • Pour this tempering /tadka over the seat down glue (NOTE: There is no heating inward this type of curry ).
  • Add inward fried bhindi at the fourth dimension of serving (so that it stays crisp). Then serve it Garnished alongside finely chopped coriander leaves . Done it's awesome alongside Rice ...YUMM !
